163. - (1) If at any sitting of the House, or in a committee of the whole House, any Member moves “That the House sit in private” the Speaker or the Chairman shall forthwith put the question “That the House sit in private”, and such question, though opposed, may be decided after the expiration of the time for opposed business, but such a Motion may be made no more than once in any sitting:

Provided that the Speaker or the chairman may, whenever he thinks fit, order the withdrawal of those other than Members or officers from any part of the House.

(2) An order under paragraph (1) of this order shall not apply to members of the House of Lords.

163. - (1) Qualora in una seduta della Camera, o in una commissione dell’intera Camera, qualunque Membro proponga “Che la Camera si riunisca in seduta privata”, lo Speaker o chi presiede porrà immediatamente la questione “Che la Camera si riunisca in seduta privata”, e tale questione, sebbene vi sia opposizione, può essere decisa dopo lo scadere del tempo per le questioni su cui vi sia opposizione, ma una tale mozione non può essere presentata più di una volta in una seduta:

A condizione che lo Speaker o chi presiede può, ogni volta che lo ritenga opportuno, ordinare che coloro che non siano Membri o funzionari si ritirino da una qualunque parte della Camera.

(2) Un order ai sensi del paragrafo (1) del presente order non si applicherà ai membri della Camera dei Lord.
