12. - (1) The House shall not sit on ten Fridays in each session to be appointed by the House.

(2) If a motion to appoint such Fridays is made by a Minister of the Crown the question thereon shall be put forthwith and may be decided at any hour, though opposed.

(3) At its rising on the Thursday before each of the Fridays so appointed the House shall stand adjourned till the following Monday without any question being put, unless it shall have resolved otherwise.

(4) Unless the House shall have resolved to adjourn otherwise than from the previous Thursday to the following Monday, the Fridays so appointed shall be treated as sitting days for the purpose of calculating any period under any order of the House and for the purposes of paragraph (8) of Standing Order No. 22 (Notices of questions, motions and amendments) and of Standing Order No. 64 (Notices of amendments, &c., to bills); and on such Fridays-

(a) notices of questions may be given by Members to the Table Office, and

(b) notices of amendments to bills, new clauses and new schedules and of amendments to Lords amendments may be received by the Public Bill Office,

between eleven o’clock and three o’clock.

12. - (1) La Camera non terrà sedute in dieci Venerdì per ciascuna sessione stabiliti dalla Camera.

(2) Se una mozione per stabilire tali Venerdì è presentata da un Ministro della Corona, la relativa questione sarà posta immediatamente e può essere decisa a qualunque ora, sebbene vi sia opposizione.

(3) Al momento di togliere la seduta il Giovedì precedente ciascuno dei Venerdì così stabiliti la Camera sarà aggiornata fino al Lunedì successivo senza che sia posta alcuna questione, a meno che non avrà deciso diversamente.

(4) A meno che la Camera non abbia deciso di aggiornarsi diversamente che dal Giovedì precedente al Lunedì successivo, i Venerdì così stabiliti saranno considerati come giorni di seduta ai fini del calcolo di qualunque periodo secondo qualunque order della Camera ed ai fini del paragrafo (8) dello Standing Order n. 22 (Preavvisi di interrogazioni, mozioni ed emendamenti) e dello Standing Order n. 64 (Preavvisi di emendamenti, etc. a progetti di legge); e in tali Venerdì

(a) preavvisi di interrogazioni possono essere dati dai Membri al Table Office (nota 11) e

(b) preavvisi di emendamenti a progetti di legge, articoli ed allegati aggiuntivi e di emendamenti ad emendamenti approvati dai Lord possono essere ricevuti dal Public Bill Office,

fra le 11.00 e le 15.00.
